EXCLUSIVE! A New Breaking Bad Sequel Movie on Jesse Pinkman
2018-11-08 06:45:22 ET by Jack Anderson

This is a news that will surprise many fans of the series Breaking Bad. Considered by many as one of the best TV series of all time, Breaking Bad did something that most series didn't. It had a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. This is a clear example of a show that couldn't and did not jump the shark. All the major characters had a clear resolution.

We have learned that executive producer Vince Gilligan will be producing a Breaking Bad movie. Acting as the writer as well, it is not clear at this time if Gilligan will be directing the movie as well. Vince Gilligan directed a handful of important Breaking Bad episodes, including the critically acclaimed pilot and series finale (Felina.)

The big question on everybody's mind is what this movie will be about. At this time, the movie seems to be focused on Jesse Pinkman. The movie will follow "the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom."
All Breaking Bad fans will remember that Jesse Pinkman, portrayed by Aaron Paul, was kidnapped at the end of the series and was liberated by Walter White at the last minute. In the last shot with Jesse, we can see him driving off the compound and run towards life.

As most of you know, Breaking Bad's universe was already expanded with the spin-off prequel "Better Call Saul", starring Bob Odenkirk and Rhea Seehorn, produced by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould. The series is now between seasons 4 and 5.

Codenamed "Greenbrier", the sequel may be a two-hour TV movie or a feature film. It is set to start shooting in Albuquerque (New Mexico) in mid-November.
