Yesterday, the Emmy Award ceremony took place in the Microsoft's Theater. As everyone expected, HBO and Netflix came back with many awards - 23 in total. Unsurprisingly, Game of Thrones won the most prestigious award of best outstanding drama series.
More interestingly, Henry Winkler, the famous Fonze in Happy Days, won an Emmy for best supporting actor in a comedy. A three-time Emmy nominee, Winkler joked that he wrote his speech 43 years ago.

But while many were not surprised by the results, a particular moment during the ceremony sent social media into frenzy - and not for a new controversy. You read it right.
At one point, Emmy Award winner Glen Weiss went on stage to receive his award, and used this opportunity to propose to his girlfriend, after mentioning that his mother passed away recently. Pointing at his girlfriend Jan Svendse, who was sitting in the audience, he told her from the stage, “you wonder why I don’t like to call you my girlfriend?” he said. “Because I want to call you my wife.”
