I have a lot of opposite feelings about this movie. Some things work, some others don't. First, the idea and the gist of the movie seems to be the money. People loved Sophie Marceau, so they put a lot of fan service in the movie, and sometimes the fan service is in poor taste. Second, the plot does not have any closure for a lot of characters, it's like a trilogy movie without the third one. And last but not least, some dialogues seem to reflect some pretentious french white adults behavior in the 80s. I hope it's just me. That said, the music is still gorgeous, well, not gorgeous but G O R G E O U S !! Your eyes opened wide As I looked your way Couldn't hide what They meant to say Feeling lost in A crowded room It's too soon for a new love Classic.
