The Grandmother Part II
By Jack Anderson on August 15, 2019

I don't know yet what to make of Eraserhead. This movie is actually very close in its format and theme to The Grandmother short-film, released in 1970. In The Grandmother, we get to see the point of view of the child and his wish to create a grandmother that would be kind to him, unlike his evil parents. In Eraserhead, we get the point of view of a father, who faces his inner demons about getting a child that will destroy his life, until ultimately, in an equally horrible and exciting scene, killing his own enfant.

I give it 5 out of 10. But I really don't know yet and will need to watch it again before being able to grasp it fully.
