Great concept, poor execution

HUMAN SCIENCE FICTION
I loved the human science fiction. What I mean by that is that I cannot stand to watch any space science fiction such as Star Trek. I don't connect with any character and hence feel nothing. I much prefer, and actually love, emotional science fiction.
I thought I would get it in this book, a story where a lady wakes up living the life of someone else. This reminded me of the tv series Quantum Leap. But the execution is pretty bad and you don't feel anything for anyone.
A great concept but a very poor execution. I give it 3 out of 10. Bad.
